Along with FootlooseDating.co.uk’s new site, we sisters, Natalie & Eleanor, are launching our very own Blog. Full of dating stories and ideas, we hope you will post comments and help us make it fun and interesting. Like a lot of our daters, we are in our fifties and are new to the world of blogging so we can all grow together. We are pretty excited about it and have lots of ideas for future posts brewing in our minds. It’s very easy to use and we hope you will enjoy reading and participating. We look forward to hearing from you. Please note offensive posts will not appear as they are all vetted prior.
Beautiful People
Have you heard about the dating site Beautiful People? We spotted an article about it in the Sunday Times in October ‘09. You submit a photo and existing members decide whether or not you are good looking enough to join? Apparently, approximately 20% are accepted. It’s to separate ‘the wheat from the chaff’ we’re told. Although we are not gorgeous enough to qualify ourselves, we quite like the idea for its novelty. It would be interesting to know the ratio of women to men as I would guess that more women than men would be accepted. On FootlooseDating’s site, we don’t exclude anyone because of their looks as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, luckily. There’s someone out there for all of us, so why not have a look..
We have also heard there is also a site for ugly people which is rather less appealing! Who would log into that? Maybe intrigue would play its part. On FootlooseDating.co.uk we are interested in ‘normal’ people and do attract plenty of good looking men and women.
If you have heard of any other heterosexual sites that exclude 80% of the population, let us know!
